Question for people who are brand fanatic?
well it goes like, SOME people who buy expensive fashion brands clothing like DIESEL, ARMANI, TOMMY HILFIGER and many more, faces problem of wrong perception of wearing fake clothes of big brands from viewers because viewers think that he might had bought from GREY MARKET.
i still know that some people wear expensive brands either for "OWN SATISFACTION or "SHOW OFF"
how do you people take this concept?|||it's an issue that has a lot to do with self-perception and self-esteem. Sometimes people think that by wearing certain expensive brands, they will be perceived as "better" by others in terms of status, wealth, success etc. Because deep inside they feel very insecure, they seek other people's approval all the time. They think that if other people see them wear something really expensive, they will automatically be "worthy", and well respected, and treated nicely. In short, these people have made a (wrong) connection between appearance and worth. Anyone who is well dressed can look like a success, but what really counts is what is beneath those clothes...and unfortunately the only thing beneath those people's clothes is a lot of insecurity and fear..|||Abhi, I don't even know where to start. Show-Off would be a good term. With some people, you could tell them **** mixed with water is tea for roses. While it is good for their roots, crap on leaves sucks, and makes the flowers smell bad.|||its am image and status thing... bit like the peacock poncing round with his plumage on display trying to attract the peahen! people think brand names are a sign of money %26amp; status, thus = higher social standing... (deluded fools with more money than sense!)|||i am myself a brand fanatic on BadB.
such that i get lot of euphoria by calling vellammal as BadB.
