Is plasma tv better than lcd ?

i want to buy tv ?? and my budget is 40 k . and i am confused between plasma and lcd ?? also is lcd or plasma tv buying from grey market like (gaffar) is fine ??? please help !!!|||I have owned both and I would suggest lcd because Plasma gets very hot and uses 4 times as much electricity as plasma.Also picture in my opinion is far superior.
