Is this a record I have a sofa bought in 1980 for 拢2.00? What is your oldest loved possession?

I bought it second hand in grey mare lane market in Liverpool - It is just brown corduroy covered sponge but oh so comfortable - I have recovered it and still love it so - It has travelled to pop festivals and foreign holidays too.


What is your oldest loved possession and why?





My sofa is going to have to crumble before I can detach myself from it.|||My oldest loved possession that was bought for me is my Raggedy Ann doll (circa 1950's) that I've had since I was 5 years old. My oldest loved possession that I bought for myself is a pipe that I've had since the '70's (still in like new condition). They both bring back very special memories!|||Myself.I have no other option.|||My Ten yr old Lab.....i love her so much.|||i have clothes from the 40's and 50's in storage that I can't part with.


I bought them when I was a teen at vintage shops.


I have many of the brick-o-brack that was my mothers from the 50's and books that were my grandfathers from 1900 or so.


My apt. is 108 years old and my furniture came from my mother-in-law when she died, circa 1970's communist working class practical things.


Can't wait to get rid of this stuff and get some modern pieces.


In fact when she died, we burnt allot of the furniture since nobody wanted it, everyone here has old stuff so after we chopped it up for firewood, we saw a stcker on the back of the wardrobe piece that said,1908 on it. we said,"Oops."
