Why does Mercedes Benz advertising use grey cars?
I have realized that during my research for my marketing project.|||Ever since the 1930s, Mercedes-Benz performance cars have been a silver color. The 1930s Grand Prix racers (W-118, I think) were supposed to be white, but came in too heavy to compete. The cars were taken down to bare metal to conserve on weight, and the look would persist into the 1950s, when silver 300 Gullwings competed in events like the Targa Florio and the Mille Miglia|||Silver Arrow, Mercedes heritage color. None the less like Ferrrari chose Rosso Corsa(red), and Jaguar British racing Green. A Brand if you call it so.
