Does bestpriceelectroics.com sell legit cameras?

I ordered a camera from www.bestpriceelectroics.com and after all way said and done am having some weird thoughts about it. I was wondering if anyone has bought from them and check the serial numbers to see if they are legit camera's or whatever or if they are grey market crap?|||I suggest you call Nikon and ask them if they are an authorized dealer.

They are selling you a 15 piece kit which is really just cheap stuff you don't really need.

Nikon lists the MSRP for the D3100 camera with all its "in the box" accessories and a 18-55 mm lens at $699

The same camera on that website with the 15 piece kit costs $749.

Just buy your camera from B%26amp;H Photo, Adorama, Samy's or Calumet ... actually any other legitimate camera store.

Trying to save $50 to $100 is really not worth the problems you can later encounter. These cameras are sold at a set price and the only time you can really save any money is when 1) there is a factory rebate or 2) the camera you are buying has been replaced by a new one.|||See the reviews here: http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Bes鈥?/a>

They seem legit, but I've not used them, so I can't say so with any certainty. The website above is a good tool for finding out whether a store or website is legitimate. I would check there before trusting any consumer electronics website. You will always take a risk when using one of these websites. It's the risk you take to save a buck. Relatively speaking, there's no such thing as a deal when it comes to consumer electronics. You're either getting a refurb, or it's grey market. Otherwise, you pay retail. Personally, I just use amazon. Unless the item sells through their marketplace, in which case I use either KEH or B%26amp;H. Beware of these web store fronts, many are bait and switch outfits preying upon people who think they'll get a deal if they try and undercut retail prices. Every now and then you'll catch a legitimate sale, especially in the spring. Patience is also a good way to save money, what you see now that's awesome will be obsolete in a few months, yet will still be awesome. Food for thought....
